ftentimes our country is visited by typhoons and other natural calamities such as earthquakes, volcano eruptions, and flashfloods. There are also those victimized by fires. People affected by these calamities are in great need of basic necessities. Emergency aid is necessary to be able to give immediate sustenance to those affected.
The Lions Club International had called on their members throughout the world to have a plan in case an emergency occur. That they are always ready if there happens to be any disaster in their area. This call was responded to by the Manila Allied Lions Club.
