BLOODLETTING PROJECTS

 ugo mo karugtong ng buhay ko” a slogan that embodies the bloodletting projects of the Manila Health Office. This was started due to scarcity of the supply of clean blood especially during the dengue outbreak. Many people died because they were not able to get blood while other people could do nothing because they cannot afford the price of blood sold at private banks and hospitals.

| The government with the help from Local Government Units, Non-Government Organizations and other private groups are mobilized. The Manila Allied Lions Club of District 301-A1 had been requested by the City of Manila under the leadership of the Honorable City Mayor Lito Atienza to support this noble cause. And they have done so with passion. Lives were saved with each project they have sponsored and mobilized. |
